We are excited to announce that our fourth production is coming to Panida Theater Easter 2027, and the show will be The Pilgrim’s Progress.
After extensive communication with the Panida staff and board, we were able to secure the theater time we need and lock in 2026 pricing, which means there will be no rental increase for this production. While we do not yet know what the future holds beyond 2027, we are grateful and excited to continue moving forward with a show at the Panida.
The Pilgrim’s Progress will feature a robust cast with roles for men and women ages 16 and older. Although this production is not a musical, it will include a sacred choir that will rehearse once each week. Participants may audition for the choir only or audition for both the choir and an acting role.
The production will also feature an original score created specifically for our Sandpoint performance. Joshua Washington aka JoDavi is not only the gospel and soul artist featured in our 1776 pre-funk show, but also a classically trained composer. We are thrilled to collaborate with him again on The Pilgrim’s Progress.
We are once again attempting to get a live orchestra pit for this show but this is still in the works. If you know anyone who might be interested in conducting, please give us a shout.

Auditions for The Pilgrim’s Progress will take place in October, with sign-ups opening in July. More information about auditions can be found on our website.
Each production helps fund the next one. If you would like to see The Pilgrim’s Progress brought to life with the large-scale production value this epic story deserves, consider supporting our current production of 1776. Tickets are on sale now, and using the password FIVE at checkout gets you five tickets for the price of four. This offer expires June 2nd.
Thank you for supporting community theatre. We look forward to seeing you on Independence Day for 1776 and again this fall at auditions for The Pilgrim’s Progress.
Best,
Honey Pearl Productions Team
