A Note About Ticket Pricing
It’s important to us to keep theatre as accessible and affordable as possible for our community. Ticket prices are what they are because producing a show like this is genuinely expensive.

We estimate that this production will cost just under $30,000 to produce in total. That includes set construction, costumes, royalties, props, and other production costs.

Of that total, approximately $13,000 will go toward renting the Panida Theater, which includes five performance days and seven rehearsal days. In addition, we pay fees for the weekdays in between performance weekends to keep our set and costumes in place, since the set is too large to move once it’s installed. The Panida rental also covers technical equipment such as microphones, spotlights etc.

The Panida’s base rental fees have increased since our last show. They’ve also introduced a new $1 “Historical Preservation Fee” on every ticket sold, which means our effective income per ticket is $24 instead of $25.

We want to be fully transparent with our audience about the costs of producing this show and how your ticket dollars are used. We’ll have the full breakdown of expenses in our Cheaper by the Dozen program.
